The Barcelona fire department have been called in to investigate a woman screaming. A local news crew is along for the ride. What they discover is horrifying and gets worse when they find out they building has been quarantined for reasons unknown.
This Korean action crime drama revels in its genre’s conventions. You’ll get intense fight scenes, gore and all around bad-assed behaviour. It’s all done grittier, slicker and more stylish than most.
This is some seriously engaging stuff. When prison dramas are done well, it can transcend the small confines of the setting. This is one of those times.
John’s new female neighbors are both alluring and a bit odd. Over drinks, the two are uncomfortably forthright when they casually disclose intimate details of his life. When one of them seduces him, she draws out John’s hidden desires and it begins a tale of sordid self-delusion.
